Privacy Policy
Plain English, no legal maze. Effective July 3, 2026.
The short version: your program's data belongs to your program. We never sell it, and we never show it to another team. We may use it to make our analysis models better — that's how the product improves for everyone — and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Account information — name, email address, role, and school, provided when your account is created.
- Program content — the game files you upload and the reports, statistics, and analysis we generate from them.
- Usage information — how the product is used (pages visited, features used, technical logs) so we can keep it fast, secure, and reliable.
How we use it
- To provide the service. Your uploads are processed to produce your program's reports and to answer your questions about your own data.
- To improve the product. We may use uploaded content and the analysis derived from it to help train and improve the models behind AthleteScoutIQ, so reports and answers get better over time. Where practical we use aggregated or de-identified data for this purpose. If your program requires that its content be excluded from model improvement, contact us and we will work with you.
- To operate the business. Account emails (password resets, login codes, service notices) and support.
What we never do
- We never sell your data or your program's content. To anyone.
- We never share one program's data with another program. Each team's data is isolated to that team.
- We never use your content in marketing, publications, or demos without your written permission.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of vetted service providers to run AthleteScoutIQ — cloud hosting and storage, AI processing, and email delivery. They process data only on our instructions and only to provide the service. We do not permit them to use your content for their own purposes.
Student-athlete data
We work with information about student-athletes and take that seriously. The data we process is game and performance data of the kind found in published box scores and team records. We are happy to work within your institution's data-handling requirements — ask us during procurement.
Retention and deletion
We keep your program's data for as long as your program uses AthleteScoutIQ. If you leave, or if you ask us to delete specific content, we will delete it from our systems within 30 days. Email us at sales@athletescoutiq.com for any deletion request.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored privately with expiring access links, and protected by role-based access controls and audit logging. More detail on our Security & trust page.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Questions: sales@athletescoutiq.com.
